About Us

Lazywood Blooms is a small dahlia garden in Auckland, New Zealand, born from a love of beautiful flowers and the slower rhythm of garden life.

We grow a carefully chosen collection of dahlias, photographing each variety as it blooms and learning something new with every season. Despite the name, life at Lazywood isn’t always lazy. It’s about appreciating everything in between, the anticipation of the first shoots, the delight of a long-awaited bloom, muddy days in the garden, and armfuls of flowers brought indoors at the end of the day.
